Designed and implemented an ultra-high-throughput financial transaction engine. Utilizes custom Raft consensus over io_uring with high-performance concurrency, processing interbank clearing with sub-10ms latency.

Kestrel's interbank clearing pipeline required deterministic consensus at a throughput no off-the-shelf stack could deliver. We implemented a purpose-built Raft variant over io_uring, keeping the consensus log off the critical allocation path.
Verified before production
State transitions were specified in TLA+ and checked against the implementation, so the concurrency behaviour was proven before a single production transaction ran.
